Local TV – Tata Docomo Media Awards

The Local TV media awards in association with Tata Docomo will give away awards for the personnel in print and electronic media.

In a briefing session to the media, a press meet was conducted at the Fim Nagar Cultural Centre. Present on the occasion Swapna Dutt, MD Local TV; Rajendra Prasad, media head Local TV; Vishnu, Ramakrishna of Tata Docomo participated.

Vishnu said that the emotional attachment of the Local TV awards will be high. The media will be shown in a bright and positive light. The awards will highlight the importance of media personnel it is learnt. Ramakrishna, representing Tata Docomo, said that the company part of their expansion plans are associating with such awards ceremonies.

Local TV‘s media head Rajendra Prasad speaking on the occasion said that the awards are being awarded to recognize the talent of the people in media. The nominations for the awards will end by August 4th and the awards ceremony will happen on August 15th.

Considering the 33 television channels, 10 newspaper dailies, 6 FM stations and 150 websites, Andhra Pradesh is the state with the largest number of Media outfits in the country.
