‘Shakthi’ shooting in rainy conditions

The ‘Shakthi’ unit sans Junior NTR is working nonstop inspite rainy conditions back at Haridwar. The unit headed by director Meher Ramesh is finishing the shooting as fast as possible.

Meher Ramesh is not worried about the rain but he is happy calling the shots on senior actors Prabhu, son of Sivaji Ganesan and Nasser. A few intense scenes are being shot, sources add.

Meher Ramesh is known for his hard work and commitment besides his stylish taking of movies. The director’s ‘Kantri’ and ‘Billa’ came under a lot of applause for its stylish taking and classy execution. Junior NTR fans would expect a cracker in ‘Shakthi’. You can wait in peace, as Meher Ramesh will not disappoint!

‘Robo’ Official Music launch on Aug 6th

The music launch of Rajinikanth’s ultra budget movie ‘Robo’ will be held on August 6th in Hyderabad.

The music launch of Tamil version ‘Endhiran’ was held in a grand way in Malaysia, on July 31st. Now the Telugu version will have if not with that amount of fanfare on August 6th.

Superstar Rajinikanth, beauty queen Aishwarya Rai along with director Shankar, will be present at the audio launch. AR Rahman is expected to be part of the event.

Sun Pictures, a company of the Sun TV group has produced the movie. The Telugu movie rights have not been sold yet. Let us see if there’s a buyer soon!

The Reason behind ‘Kathi’ in ‘Kathi Kantharao’

Hero with the funny bone, Allari Naresh will be seen as a police constable in his forthcoming project ‘Kathi Kantharao’ directed by director dad, EVV Satyaranayana.

Claiming the character to be funny yet with wits, director EVV Satyanarayana explains that Naresh’s character in the movie, ‘Kantha Rao’ is not the usual constable. He doesn’t use lathi charge or any weapon. He can impress or convince any superior or junior with his witty talks. The ‘Kathi’ tag to ‘Kantha Rao’ is to denote the sharp knife like qualities of the character. The pretty Kamna Jethmalani is the heroine of the movie.

Currently, the shooting of ‘Kathi Kantharao’ is being done in Hyderabad.

Eedara Srinivasa Rao, Eedara Ravi Kumar Eedpuganti Poornachandra Rao and Eedpuganti Subramanyeshwara Rao are the producers of this comic flick.

Maryada Ramanna Telangana Tour plans

As reported earlier in the web pages of IndiaGlitz that because of the elections and the counting process held at the Telangana region, the Maryada Ramanna (MR) success tour had to be postponed. The revised schedule has been informed by the MR Team.

The tour of the Telangana leg will start on August 6th from Hyderabad and tour places like Nizamabad, Metpalli, Jagithyala, Karimnagar, Huzurabad, Hanumakonda and settle at Warangal for the night.

The next day, i.e., August 7th, the MR team will start as early as 7 am and tour Khammam, Suryapet and other places to return to Hyderabad that evening at approximately 6:30 pm.

NTR to join Brindaavanam team on Aug 6th

Calling it ‘pack up’ in Haridwar for director Meher Ramesh’s ‘Shakthi’, Junior NTR along with the ‘Shakthi’ team has left for Hyderabad and will reach there soon.

If you’re thinking NTR is going to relax then your mistaking. The energetic hero will join the shooting of ‘Brindavanam’ from August 6th. In the absence of NTR, ‘Brindaavanam’ team has shot most of the talkie part that didn’t need NTR. ‘Brindaavanam’ directed by Vamsi Paidapalli will finish shooting this month most probably.

NTR’s a committed actor and he’s proved it many a times. He’s a producer’s darling and a director’s sweet heart! Way to go Junior NTR!

Period movie ‘Madhrasapattanam’ in Telugu

Tamil super hit movie ‘Madhrasapattanam’ has been dubbed in Telugu.

From the makers of ‘Super Cowboy’, AGS Entertainments, ‘Madhrasu Pattanam’ is a period movie that is set during the India’s independence. The movie is directed by Vijay and has ‘Varudu’ villain Arya as hero and an UK model Amy Jackson as heroine. The movie’s music is composed by GV Prakash.

Talking about the movie, producer Kalpathi S.Aghoram said that before Independence, a major part of South India was called as ‘Madhrasu Pattanam’ with Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka being one state. The movie shows the essence of pre-independent India and a love story inter-woven in it.

In Tamil, the movie was released in 196 centres out of which it is running towards 50 days in 120 centres. A total of Rs 14 crores has been collected so far. The producers are planning to release the movie by the end of August.

RGV calls last shot of ‘RC’

Ram Gopal Varma called the last shot of his ambitious project ‘Raktha Charithra’ today.

Looks like RGV is a happy man as he says that the movie has shaped excellently. He feels that right from the idea of making the movie till the research for the story and implementing it and calling the last shot, RGV enjoyed the process thoroughly.

Talking diplomatically about the movie, RGV said that the truth of the real life characters have been retained to the maximum but he also said that the movie may not have the ‘absolute’ truth! The essence of the story will be retained, he affirmed.

Giving more information about the last shot of ‘Raktha Charithra’, RGV has never felt so exhilarated about a movie so far in his career not just for the movie but even for the characters he has created for this movie! RGV, all of us know your characterization and your story! No doubt this will be your best one yet!

Chiranjeevi B’day Celebrations on Aug 22nd

The birthday celebrations of Megastar Chiranjeevi will be held on his birthday August 22nd. Usually his birthday celebrations are made on 21st August every year.

Thousands of Megastar fans from all over the state will assemble at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad the venue of the birthday celebrations. Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan Tej will be present to greet the fans. As usual, an enormous cake will be cut in the presence of the fans.

Mahesh Babu's next with Jasti Hemambar

Good news for Mahesh Babu fans as he has signed a new movie with Yellow Flowers banner, the producers of yet another movie in production, ‘Mirapakai’ starring Ravi Teja.

The new film will be directed by Jasti Hemambar, a close friend of Mahesh Babu who has worked in many movies as an associate director. Vital details about the movie will be announced soon. The movie is produced by Ramesh Puppala for Yellow Flowers. Apparently, the film’s team is on the look out for a fresh face as the heroine.

Mahesh Babu is fast finishing his acting formalities for ‘Khaleja’ by Trivikram Srinivas. He will start working on Srinu Vytla’s movie.
